体験方法
「多層世界の中のもうひとつのミュージアム」は，リアルとヴァーチュアルが共存し情報が行き来する，それぞれが連携した展示空間の総体として構想されています．オンラインからアクセスして体験できる作品が，現実の展示空間に現われたり，ARで実際の展示では見えない要素が追加されたり，さらに現実空間からオンラインへ情報を送ってみたりと，以下の多層的な展示形式を通じて，さまざまな形態で作品を体験することができます．
アプリケーション(PC用)
PCで動作するアプリケーションは二種類あります．それぞれ，東京オペラシティ街区の一部およびICC内部をレーザースキャンした点群データをもとに作られた「ヴァーチュアル初台」および「ハイパーICC」を探索したり，オンライン展示の作品を鑑賞したりすることができます．
「ヴァーチュアル初台」アプリ
東京オペラシティ街区の一部を実測した点群データをもとに作られたヴァーチュアル初台を自由に動き回ることができます．街区内には過去にICCが行なってきた「情報の建築」ハイパーICCにアクセスできる場所があります．そこでは，過去にICCが行なってきた展示やイヴェントの開催時期や種別をユーザーが選択することで，ハイパーICCの外観を動的に変化させることができます．また，街区の中の数箇所に，作品が展示されています．
「ハイパーICC」アプリ
オンライン展示のメイン会場となる，ハイパーICCを体験することができます．

リアル展示
リアル展示会場で展示される作品は，オンライン展示の作品と連携しています．オンラインからアクセスして体験できる作品が，現実の展示空間では少し異なった形で展示されていたり，ARで実際の展示では見えない要素が追加されたり，現実空間からオンラインへ情報を送ることができたり，パフォーマーが展示会場に現われたりします．リアル展示はオリジナルではなく，オンラインやヴァーチュアルと同等の多層な展示形式のひとつと位置づけられます．

AR
現実空間の展示物に，ARアプリをインストールしたスマートフォン，タブレットをかざすと，現実世界と情報の世界を重ね合わせた状態を見ることができます．また，本展のリアル展示会場にとどまらない任意の場所でARを楽しめる作品もあります．

ペーパークラフト
場所にとらわれない，ポータブルな鑑賞体験としてペーパークラフトの作品を，本ウェブサイトにて公開します．アーティストが制作したペーパークラフトなどのデータをウェブページからダウンロードし，印刷して組み立てることで作品が完成します．自分で組み立てることや，自宅で手軽に作品を飾ることができる面白さもあり，子供から大人まで楽しんでいただけます．また，ペーパークラフトを用いたアーティストによるワークショップやパフォーマンスも予定しています．
ブラウザ上ツアー
ふたつのPC向けアプリケーション上でできる体験や，展示される作品について，ウェブブラウザ上でツアーをするようにたどっていくことができます．

Access
The Museum in the Multi-layered World is conceptualized as a collection of interconnecting exhibition spaces in which the real and virtual worlds co-exist and information travels to and from between them. Artworks that can be accessed and experienced online will appear in the real-world exhibition space. Elements that are not visible in the actual exhibit are added with AR, and information can be sent online from the real world. Through the following multi-layered exhibition formats, you can experience the works in various forms.
Apps (PC)
There are two different apps for use on a PC. They can be used to explore either Virtual Hatsudai, which has been created using point cloud data that are laser-scanned parts of the Tokyo Opera City district and inside ICC, and Hyper ICC respectively and to appreciate the works on display online.
Virtual Hatsudai App
Move freely inside Virtual Hatsudai, which is created from laser-scanned point cloud data of sections of the Tokyo Opera City district. Inside the City, there are places where you can access Hyper ICC, the “Information Building” of past ICC projects. There, the user can make the external appearance of Hyper ICC change dynamically by selecting the timing or type of past ICC exhibits or events. Works are also on display in several areas inside the district.

Use this app to experience Hyper ICC, the main venue for the online exhibition.

Exhibition at real-space venues
The works exhibited in the real-space venues are linked to the works exhibited online. Artworks that can be accessed and experienced online will appear in the real-world exhibition space in a slightly different form. Elements that are not visible in the actual exhibit are added with AR, information can be sent online from the real world, and performers will appear in the exhibition venue. The exhibits in the real-space venues are not the original, but instead are positioned as one of the multi-layered exhibition formats on the same level as the online and virtual exhibits.

AR
Use on the exhibits in the real space. When you wave your smartphone or tablet with the AR app installed toward the exhibit, you can see a multilayered world of the real world and cyber space. There also works that can be enjoyed in arbitrary places that are not confined to the real-space exhibition venues of this exhibition.

Papercraft
Papercraft will also be posted on the website as a portable appreciation experience that can be enjoyed anywhere. Users can download the data for artworks, such as papercraft created by artists, from the website and print it to assemble and complete themselves. This experience, which people of all ages, from children to adults can enjoy, will allow users to have fun assembling these artworks and displaying them easily at home. Artist-run workshops and performances using papercraft are also planned.
