慶應義塾大学 SFC 徳井直生研究室，Computational Creativity Lab（CC Lab）は，人工知能（AI）を用いた新しい創造性のあり方について，研究と表現の両面からの実践に取り組んでいます．AIを，創造性を拡張する「道具」であると同時に，人の創造的なプロセスがどのように働くのかを写し出す「鏡」として捉え，オルタナティヴな答え／アイディアを求めるためのパートナーとしてのAIのあり方を模索します．また，アートや音楽領域だけでなく，AIが社会全般に及ぼす多様な影響，AIという存在そのものがもつ意義やその本質を，表現の実践を通して問いかけようとしています．本展では，研究室が発足した2019年以降の活動成果を，複数のプロジェクトによって紹介します．

The Computational Creativity Lab (CC Lab) engages in practices revolving around new forms of creativity based on artificial intelligence (AI), through both research and artistic activity. Understanding AI as a “tool” for expanding creativity, and at once also as a “mirror” that reflects how the process of human creativity works, they explore the role of AI as a partner in their pursuit of alternative answers/ideas. In addition to the fields of art and music, the collective investigates the various effects of AI on society at large, while aiming to question through their artistic endeavors the very nature and meaning of the existence of AI. Introduced in this exhibition, are multiple projects that reflect the results of the Lab’s activities since its establishment in 2019.
